Paul George added 24 more points to Oklahoma, and his teammate Carmela Anthony scored 20 points. James Harden was the most successful for Rockets with 20 points and Clint Capella scored 19 points and took 10 rebounds.
Houston made his third consecutive defeat. Trevor Ariza and Eric Gordon scored 20 points for the scorers who played without injured guard Chris Paul.
