Sport tips Philadelphia announced the construction of a new arena in South Philadelphia in cooperation with Comcast
Philadelphia changed the initial project of the new arena. Earlier, the club announced the refusal to build a new stadium in the city center, contrary to previously reached agreements with the city council. Sixers announced the transfer of the project to southern Philadelphia. The new platform will be home for the basketball club advised by baseball picks and Flyers from the NHL.
The project will be launched in cooperation between the owner of the Harris Blitzer Sportser Sports u0026 Entertainment and Comcast, which will receive the right to name the arena.
Construction is also planned to be completed by 2031, when the lease with the Wells Fargo Center will end.
Both investors participate in the development of the business space in the proposed place of the previous construction in the center of Philadelphia.
