The 23-year-old forward finished his shift, and upon returning to the bench he required medical attention. The hockey player was taken away on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.
I feel much better today. It was a scary situation. The puck, I was told, hit the vagus nerve.
As soon as I got hit, I knew something was wrong, but we could have gotten a two-on-one, I couldn`t miss this opportunity.
When I reached the bench, I felt out of place. I don`t remember much after that until I was on a stretcher, next to the ambulance, " said Dylan Holloway.
The forward also expressed his readiness to take part in the next match, which St. Louis will play on the night of November 7-8 against Utah.
