Sport tip Korda on the wrist injury: There were forehands where I couldn`t hold the racket. It was impossible to play at all since the summer
Sebastian Korda commented on the wrist injury received in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open against Karen Khachanov. The American withdrew with the score 6:7 (5), 3:6, 0:3.
My wrist hurt a bit in Adelaide a couple of weeks ago, but it went away. Everything was fine during the matches.
And then, at the beginning of the second set, I hit one unsuccessful shot with a return, and it started to really bother me. There were forehands when I couldn`t hold the racket. It was completely impossible to play in the summer.
Right now I have no idea what exactly the problem is. I`ll go to the doctor and we`ll figure it out.
