Sport tipster Karl-Anthony Towns: For some reason ESPN gave false hope to our fans about my recovery
Minnesota star center Karl-Anthony Towns has been sidelined since Nov. 28 with a calf injury. According to Towns, he does not understand why the ESPN website in its November story on the topic indicated that the basketball player would miss 4 to 6 weeks and return in January.
I would like it to be that way and for my recovery to take four to six weeks. But even then I knew that it wouldn`t work out that way. With the injury I received, this is simply impossible, the injury is too serious.
"I don`t know if they were trying to give the fans false hope or what it was, " Towns said.
