Three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray commented on the statistics of the first rackets of the ATP tour. Journalist Enrico Maria Riva published data on how many days passed between the debut of a player in the top 10 and as No. 1.
The current leader of the rating, Carlos Alcaras, took the least time (140 days), and Murray the most (3493 days).
I think it`s called perseverance, - wrote the Briton.
Murray hit the top ten for the first time on April 16, 2007. He was able to lead the rating on November 7, 2016 and spent 41 weeks on the first line.
