The tennis players and their teams will stay in only two hotels, which have already been determined, and for each athlete there are a total of two rooms - one for him and one for the accompanying team, which can be up to three people. Only one of them will be able to enter the locker rooms. After the first coronavirus test, people will not be able to leave their hotel rooms until the results are available.
An official protocol on the requirements for tennis players when they are on and off the court will be circulated soon. So far, the American Tennis Association reports that everyone should wear masks except when training or having a game.
Another important detail that has not been officially confirmed is a declaration that all participants in the tournament in New York will have to sign. It is a question of waiver of claims against the organizers and claims.
