Sport prediction Dele Ali`s great goal brought a twist and joy to Tottenham Boxing Day
Tottenham came within three points of the fourth place after turning up and winning with 2:1 at home over Brighton in the first match prediction by sport links of the Boxing Day festivities in the Premier League. The Seagulls played a strong first half lead at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and largely led deservedly after a goal by Adam Webster (37`).
After the break, Jose Mourinho`s team performed much better and came to a complete reversal after hitting Harry Kane (53) and a very technical performance by Dele Alli (72). Mourinho had made two changes to his squad compared to the Chelsea derby. Ryan Sessegnon first started as a Premier League titleholder, taking the place of the punished Son Heung-min. Harry Winks replaced Eric Dier. Graham Potter had made five corrections since the loss to Sheffield United. Ezequiel Schelotto, Shane Duffy, Bernardo, Steven Alzate, and Aaron Connolly were the holders today.
In the ninth minute, Sessegnon received a pass from Alderweireld, but his shot met the beam. Subsequently, it became clear that the side referee had properly raised his ambush flag so that even if the ball had entered the door, there would have been no hit.
Brighton, however, stood perfectly even in those minutes and even held the ball more. In the 13th minute, Steven Alzate fired well from about 25 yards, but Gazzaniga was careful and saved. In the 24th minute, Harry Kane was behind the defense and fired past Ryan, but the hit was properly canceled for an ambush, although it was quite thin.
Brighton started the scoring in the 37th minute after Adam Wesbster scored with a header centering Pascal Gross out of a foul. The free kick was awarded to Harry Winks`s twine, which tried to stop the visitors` counterattack. Tottenham`s midfielder claimed he never touched his opponent, but a foul was awarded and Winks received a yellow card.
Tottenham actively started the second part. In the 53rd minute, the home side scored with a lucky draw. Moura broke through the center, holding the ball between several defenders. Webster cleared but got a ricochet at Stevens, and then the ball ended up on Kane`s way. The attacker`s initial shot was knocked out by Ryan, but Kane made a 1:1 aerial supplement.
Tottenham continued to play better in the second half. With 68 minutes played, the visitors were awarded a free kick. Gross did well, but Gazzaniga boxed. In the 72nd minute, the Spurs deservedly came to a complete turnaround. A long pass to Eriksen came to Aurier, who returned with one touch to Dele Alli. The midfielder shoots very technically from the move, passing Ryan. By the end, Brighton failed to change a thing, and Tottenham was finally honored with the success of Boxing Day. In the 90th minute, Matt Ryan even stripped Ali of the second goal after saving a powerful shot from the midfielder left alone against him.
